Your keys stay yours

OTCHive is non-custodial. We never receive or store your private keys or recovery phrase, and we cannot access your wallet's funds. We do process the data needed to run an escrow service — such as your Telegram ID, your public wallet address, and your deal activity — as described below. On-chain data (wallet addresses and transactions) is public on TON and cannot be deleted by anyone.

This Privacy Policy explains what information OTCHive ("we", "us"), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], collects when you use the OTCHive Telegram Mini App, websites, and bots (the "Service"), how we use it, and your choices.

1 Information we collect

We collect only what the Service needs to operate:

Telegram identity
Your Telegram user ID, username, display name, and language, provided by Telegram when you open the Mini App (verified cryptographically).
Wallet
Your public TON wallet address and a one-time proof of ownership you sign when connecting. We do not receive your keys.
Linked accounts
If you choose to connect them, the account ID and username for X (Twitter), Discord, or GitHub, used for verification badges.
Deal content
Orders, bids, milestones, submitted work links, reviews, and the chat messages you exchange about a deal.
On-chain data
Escrow contract addresses, transaction hashes, and amounts associated with your deals (these are public on TON).
Profile
Bio, skills, avatar emoji, portfolio/gig entries, and your notification and privacy settings.
Usage & device
Sessions (device, platform, approximate IP, last-seen time), check-in/streak activity, and product analytics events used to operate and improve the Service.

2 What we don't collect

We do not collect or have access to your wallet's private keys, seed phrase, or any secret that controls your funds. We do not ask for them, and you should never share them with anyone — including anyone claiming to be OTCHive support.

3 How we use it

4 On-chain & public data

Escrow runs on the public TON blockchain. Your wallet address and every related transaction (amounts, timing, contract addresses) are publicly visible and permanent. Anyone can view them with a block explorer, and neither you nor OTCHive can edit or delete on-chain records. Consider this before linking a wallet you wish to keep private.

5 Sharing & processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as needed to run the Service, with:

We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a business transfer. Other users see what you make visible (your public profile, listings, reviews, and messages within your deals).

6 Cookies & local storage

The Service uses minimal local storage in your browser to remember preferences such as your chosen language and session state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site ad tracking.

7 Data retention

We keep off-chain data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal, security, dispute-resolution, and anti-abuse obligations. We may retain certain records (such as ban or fraud signals) longer to protect the platform. On-chain data is permanent and outside our control.

8 Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We will honour valid requests for the off-chain data we hold, subject to legal and anti-abuse retention. On-chain data cannot be erased by us or anyone. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

9 Security

We protect the Service with cryptographic verification of Telegram sessions, signed proof of wallet ownership, encrypted transport, access controls, and rate limiting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and you are responsible for the security of your wallet, keys, and devices.

10 Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

11 International transfers

OTCHive operates online and relies on providers in multiple countries, so your data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

12 Changes

We may update this Policy as the Service evolves. We will update the effective date and version above, and material changes will be reflected in the Service. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
